在研究脫醇型硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠時發現，在硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠中添加以下三類有機硅烷可以使固化后的硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠表面具有可修飾性。

也有研究結果表明圖，在脫經胺體系的硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠體系中添加一種含C---C鍵的不飽和一元醉，固化交聯后形成的彈性體表面可用各種油漆進行涂飾。添加的不飽和一元醇含量要求適量。L:I100份的有機聚硅氧烷的質量計，不飽和醉的加人量最佳范圍為0. 05-- 5份。用量太少，則表面對涂層的粘接力小，容易剝離;用量過多，則表面呈粘性狀態，對涂層的粘接力也小。此外，含C=C鍵的不飽和醉中的經基的位置只能是C---C鍵的a或夕位碳原子上，連在其它位置上的不飽和醉不具備相同的效果。

對上述方法進行T改進。硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠的交聯劑可以采用脫經胺和/或脫酷胺型，而不僅僅限于脫經胺型。含C=C鍵的不飽和一元醉可以由含各種極性取代基的醇類化合物替代，這些取代基可以是酷氧基、烷氧撥基、氛基、琉基、環氧基等極性基團，添加含這類取代基的醉類化合物后，制得的硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠固化后表面具有可修飾性。

上述含極性取代基的醉類化合物與硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠的基礎聚合物的相容性不佳，影響了產品的儲存性能，建議采用含這類取代基的有機硅烷代替醉類化合物，并認為同樣可以達到可修飾性的目的。所采用的有機硅烷化合物可用通式表示:XR'SiR2(OR3)2,R代表亞烷基、鹵代亞烷基或亞烷氧基，R2,R3代表烷基、烷氧烷基、環烷基等，X代表極性基團如琉基、環氧基、酞氧基、甲基丙烯酞氧基、氰基、氨基等。便用有機硅烷化合物代替醇類化合物后，不但提高了儲存性能，同時提高了硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠表面與涂層的粘接力。http://www.www.sunsage.net/
